If you’re buying books for children you might want to consider more inclusive texts, particularly in light of the CLPE and Booktrust’s latest research on ethnic representation in UK publishing.

Fabia Turner from Candid Cocoa is a former teacher and books editor, and currently a member of the Critics of Colour Collective. She reviews Black children’s books with links to the EYFS and Primary National Curriculum.
