After new tapes of Princess Diana speaking about not being hugged came out we asked how much should you hug your children

Delighted to see my tips for giving children hugs and affection was published in The Sun this weekend.

This week, shocking new tapes saw the late Princess Diana talk candidly about her childhood.

Speaking about her family life, the princess said: “My parents, they never said they loved me. There were no hugs or anything like that.” Diana admitted that her adult life was riddled with anxiety and low self-esteem.

This has led many people to question the impact her relationship with her parents had on her while growing up. To help answer the question “how much love is enough?” we recruited parenting expert and top-selling author Sue Atkins.
