Question My son had a friend round to play the other day and he was really rough with our dog. I wasn’t sure what to do. So, I told him to be more gentle but I was worried he’d go home and tell his Mum I told him off. What’s your advice? Esther Rodriquez from Barcelona
Disciplining other people’s children is tricky. Parents can be protective of their own kids, and take a personal affront when others discipline their kids. Clear communication is the key.
