Dealing with Bullying – Advice for Children who are being Bullied

I am appearing on ITV ‘This Morning’ doing a phone- in to help children and families affected by bullying after following the story of Casey Mahon who had her pony tail cut off by the bullies at school.

I experienced being bullied myself when I was 11 and developed  alepecia for a little while from the stress of it.Unless you’ve directly experienced bullying, you may not realise just how devastating it can be, especially to a child or teenager. As well as being deeply hurtful, bullying can leave children feeling frightened, angry, depressed, and totally undermined and helpless.

Bullying should NEVER be tolerated.

Whether you’re the one being bullied, or you’re a teacher or parent who thinks their child is being bullied or engaged in bullying behaviour, there are steps you can take to deal with the problem.
