I was greatly saddened to hear of the suicide of Robin Williams – a comic genius and a gracious and kind man. I loved him in Mork and Mindy and Mrs. Doubtfire.

No one understands the silent battles people face behind their smiling eyes. Depression and despair are such common problems and I was asked on Twitter tonight if I knew of any resources to help parents discussing this topic.

My friend Wendy Young from Kidlutions has worked with children who have tragically lost a parent to suicide.
